Description
ADVANCE-Addressing Mental Health Vulnerabilities from Adolescence to Older Age: Innovating Prevention Science for Times of Change-is a Horizon Europe research project. It aims to advance knowledge on mental health promotion and prevention among vulnerable populations across the lifespan. Grounded in a social justice and human rights framework, it addresses mental health challenges linked to contemporary societal changes, including migration, climate change, socioeconomic inequalities, digitalization, and population ageing. It involves multiple intervention studies across Europe, targeting young people, socioeconomically disadvantaged groups, working adults, migrants, and older adults. Through co-creation, implementation research, and scaling-up strategies, ADVANCE seeks to develop, evaluate, and disseminate evidence-based, sustainable, and scalable mental health interventions, while providing practical guidance for policymakers, practitioners, and health systems across Europe.
