Description
The candidate will conduct research in the fieldof agricultural microbiology of the soil-plant system, with a particular focus onthe microbial ecology of the grapevine rhizosphere and phyllosphere. Omicstechnologies will be applied to assess microbiota composition as a function of stress,agronomic techniques, or the use of microbial biosolutions. Bioinformatics knowledgeis required for the analysis of NGS data and the development of microbial indicators ofsoil quality. Cultivation techniques and the development of formulation protocols for theapplication of microorganisms in the field will also be applied to maximize their efficacyand survival.
