Description

The selected candidate will conduct research on natural flat oyster (Ostrea edulis) populations in the central Adriatic, including literature review, marine and underwater sampling, water and sediment monitoring, molecular, biomolecular, transcriptomic and chemical analyses, development of e-DNA techniques, and ecological data analysis to assess habitat suitability and support flat oyster restoration through regenerative aquaculture. The role includes participation in international project meetings, preparation of scientific publications, and support for teaching activities at the UNICAM URDIS site in San Benedetto del Tronto. The candidate will also contribute to seminars, conferences, workshops, and Third Mission outreach activities to disseminate the ATTITUDE project results and promote regenerative aquaculture among institutions, stakeholders, and the local fisheries sector
