n.1 post-doc position, art.22-bis L.240/2010 - Multi-omic integration for prognostic stratification of Glioblastoma and development of an interactive diagnostic tool

The candidate will deal with multi-omics integration (alternative splicing and DNA methylation) to refine the prognostic stratification of IDH-wildtype Glioblastoma. The activity includes: 1) In silico bioinformatics analysis on public datasets and data integration using the BigOmics Analytics platform (Interreg partner); 2) Experimental validation on local FFPE samples via NanoString and dPCR platforms to identify predictive molecular signatures (response to chemo-radiotherapy and BMP4-based differentiation therapies); 3) Implementation of a decision-making workflow and an interactive tool within WP2 of the NERD project.Teaching Activities: Support and transfer of specialized know-how within the modules and laboratories of the 1st level Master's program in Molecular Pathology, including tutoring activities for students and PhD candidates.Third Mission: Sharing of validated protocols and technology transfer of diagnostic results to regional healthcare facilities.
