The winner will develop and optimize laser processing technologies, primarily based on ultrashort-pulse laser systems. The research activities will focus on applications in energy generation and storage, adhesive bonding, and injection molding. The candidate will be responsible for the development of optical beam delivery systems, as well as beam shaping and adaptive optics techniques. In addition, they will characterize the processed materials and surfaces using advanced analytical techniques, including scanning electron microscopy (SEM), atomic force microscopy (AFM), μRaman spectroscopy, profilometry, and surface energy measurements.
