Experimental analysis of Digital Self-Determination: experimental Design, empirical Evidence and metrics development for the assessment of conditioning techniques in digital markets

The position concerns the experimental component of the FAST-D project, devoted to reframing digital self-determination. The researcher will be responsible for the design, piloting and execution of the laboratory and online experiments envisaged by the project across its settings (B2C purchases, social media, private-to-private relations, credence goods), as well as for data collection and econometric analysis, contributing to the development of empirically grounded metrics on the impact of digital techniques on users' self-determination, in coordination with the legal component of the team. A solid background in experimental and behavioural economics, command of implementation and analysis tools (R, Stata, Python or equivalent), aptitude for international research, the ability to engage in interdisciplinary dialogue with legal scholars and and to contextualize economic research within the policy and regulatory envirnments are required.
