Description
The teaching and scientific commitment will focus on the chemical, physical, mechanical, and technological properties of metallic materials, their characterization through macro, micro, and nano-structural and fractographic analyses, also in relation to corrosion, oxidation, and in-service damage. Teaching and study topics may include thermal, mechanical, thermochemical, and thermomechanical treatments, extractive metallurgy, steelmaking, and more broadly, process metallurgy, as well as aspects related to the environmental compatibility of metallurgical processes and technologies.
