Description
Teaching commitment will concern numerical signal processing, with particular attention to the analysis and processing of data acquired by Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) systems mounted on satellites, drones, and ground-based platforms, with applications in interferometry and tomography for environmental monitoring, as well as in automotive applications. The required research activity will be oriented toward the development of advanced techniques for the analysis and processing of SAR data for 3D imaging, applied to Earth observation, the generation of high-resolution radar images in the automotive field, as well as the development of efficient techniques for assessing the absence of malicious tampering in SAR data. A significant aspect of the required activities will also involve the attraction of research funding, as well as the management and coordination of national and international research projects in the aforementioned fields.
