08/CEAR-11 - Conservation And History Of Architecture
Description
Teaching commitments will focus on teaching courses in the History of Architecture at the AUIC and Design Schools, focusing on the critical reading of architectural language and its relationship with the arts, and on supervising theses and doctoral students. Scientific activity requires leadership in research of excellence focused on architectural historiography and the valorization of documentary and archival resources, with the ability to attract competitive funding (PRIN, Horizon). For the Third Mission, the winning candidate will promote the protection and valorization of architectural heritage through collaborations with museums, archives, and local authorities. Curating exhibitions and public engagement initiatives aimed at transferring historical knowledge to civil society, actively contributing to the Department's cultural and international positioning, is required.
