Engineering Learning Factory

The technologist supports the technical setup, operation and further development of the Learning Factory as an industry-oriented demonstration and development environment for manufacturing andproduction technologies. The position is justified by the expansion of the technical infrastructure through new machines and systems, including CNC machines, injection moulding systems such as Babyplast, and additive manufacturing systems, e.g. metal 3D printers. The role includes commissioning, maintenance, machine parameterization, process preparation, troubleshooting, quality control and technical documentation. Further tasks cover CAD/CAM interfaces, digital process chains, prototyping, metrology, sensors and data acquisition. The aim is to ensure the reliable provision... (see call)
