The context of the energy transition calls for rapid interventions to mitigate climate-altering emissions. Numerous technologies, such as those for hydrogen production, are proposed as solutions to reduce emissions in the short term, while simultaneously enabling the development of decarbonization pathways and, in the long term, managing residual activities that will still entail CO2 emissions.The main objective of the proposed research activity is the analysis and development of modeling tools for the identification and assessment of risks associated with hydrogen storage technologies, with a specific focus on liquid hydrogen storage technologies. The work will be aimed at defining a reference methodology for quantitative risk analysis.
