Research in the areas covered by the Scientific Disciplinary Sector (SSD) MAHT-02/A – Algebra, with particular emphasis on Commutative Algebra and its applications (cryptography, graph theory, and algebraic combinatorics).

The teaching activity will cover topics taught in the degree programmes, according to the needs for the delivery of the University's educational offerings. The research activity will focus on topics within the field of Algebra, with particular emphasis on Commutative Algebra and its applications, including cryptography, graph theory, and algebraic combinatorics. Third mission activities will be devoted to the dissemination and public engagement of topics related to the field of Algebra.
