Development and study of methods and models for innovative management of production, distribution and supply chains, to address global challenges related to sustainability and techonological evolution 2026_RTT_DIG_5

The research activity aims to develop methods and models to support the transition towards sustainable production, distribution, and supply chains. It considers the key role that digital technologies (e.g., e-commerce, Big Data Analytics, Industry 4.0) can play in redesigning processes and planning of logistics and production systems, with the goal of improving resource management, operational efficiency, and environmental and social sustainability. Such redesign may require both the development of innovative solutions and the continuous improvement of existing ones.
