INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEMS

Scientific and educational activities will be conducted in the field of Computer Engineering, with a specific focus on Artificial Intelligence and its multidisciplinary applications. Research will concentrate on three key areas: Knowledge Representation (ontologies and knowledge graphs), Information Visualization for visual data analysis, and Explainable AI (XAI) to ensure the transparency and verifiability of intelligent systems. These methodologies may be integrated with techniques such as machine learning, deep learning, data mining, and natural language processing to develop complex, reliable decision-support systems. Teaching activities will align with these themes, covering courses in AI and computer engineering included in the University's academic curriculum.
