Development and validation of digital twins for design and biomechanical evaluation of endoprostheses 2026_RTT_DCMC_5
The new researcher will be responsible for conducting scientific research in the field of biomechanics, with a particular focus on the design and evaluation of innovative endoprostheses (for the cardiovascular and orthopedic-spinal systems). Specifically, the candidate will develop digital twins of implantable devices and associated clinical procedures, with a focus on modeling materials and biomechanical interactions with the patient's biological tissues, as well as on the accurate experimental validation of the developed computational models. To this end, the candidate will be required to design and utilize dedicated experimental setups that represent the specific contex of use, for validation in accordance with the ASME V&V40 standard. Finally, the candidate will be expected to teach, including in English, as part of the Bachelor's and Master's degree programs in Biomedical Engineering
