Agroecosystem Modelling: GrapeSoil Development

The research will develop the GrapeSoil model by improving its representation of the biophysical processes governing crop production,soil functioning and biodiversity in viticultural systems.The postdoctoral researcher will improve vine-yield and production-variable simulation, refine modules describing water and nitrogen flows in the soil–plant system,and calibrate the model to represent the diversity of genotype × environment × management combinations.The work will be conducted jointly by the Univ. of Brescia,Italy,and the LEPSE and ABSYS Research Units,France.The contractor must comply with the DNSH under Art.17 of Regulation (EU) 2020/852,the European Commission’s Technical Guidelines, the National Operational Guide,where applicable Technical Note N. 26,and other funding-programme provisions.Activities and results must not significantly harm the six environmental objectives under Art.9,and the contractor must provide requested compliance documentation and evidence
