INNOVAMARE- INNOvation for the Assessment of MARine Ecosystems
Study of the evolution of ecosystems (including physical and chemical changes in the oceans, spatiotemporal distribution of organisms, trophic ecology etc.) and marine biodiversity (including the dynamics of invasive species), through the development of monitoring strategies and tools, the integration of innovative technologies and approaches (e.g. low-cost sensors, AI, eDNA, GID approach etc.), the implementation of observation networks ( e.g. AdriFOOS, FVON), the application of simple mathematical models and advanced analytical approaches for the assessment of climate and anthropogenic impacts and management measures.
Selection process
Evaluation Titles
A PhD degree relevant to the scientific area of the program and the position applied for, or a degree obtained abroad.Candidates may also participate in the selection process if:-they are enrolled in the third year of the program leading to the aforementioned PhD, provided that the aforementioned qualifications are expected to be obtained within six months of the publication date of the call for applications;or:- they possess a scientific-professional curriculum suitable for carrying out the research activity, it being understood that the qualifications referred to in point A of this description constitute preferential qualifications for the purposes of establishing the relevant ranking.- Knowledge of the English language and knowledge of the Italian language for candidates with citizenship other than Italian.
