Neuro-Symbolic AI for Process Mining (NeSyAI4PM)

The research activity focuses on developing neuro-symbolic and multimodal techniques for Predictive Process Monitoring, with the aim of improving the ability to predict the evolution of ongoing business and organizational processes. The research will address tasks such as predicting subsequent activities, possible process outcomes, remaining completion times, and the occurrence of anomalies or violations. Additional research activities in the context of other research projects on similar topics may be defined in due course with the mutual agreement between research contract holder and supervisor. If the supervision of this activity taking place within another project is done in detail by a different professor/researcher, the main supervisor has to explicitly countersign the part of the report regarding the activity on additional research projects.
