CR N 10 IFAC FI – STRIVE (FOE 2022) – Towards the energy transition (Project CUP: B53C22010110001), SoFIA – Study of materials using light and neutron scattering techniques.
1) The project involves researching and identifying nanoporous materials capable of modifying the thermodynamic formation conditions of hydrogen hydrates grown within them. These experiments will be conducted on both "bulk" samples—in the absence of nanoporous materials—and hydrates grown inside such materials.2) The project focuses primarily on the study and characterization of simple physical systems synthesized in the laboratory that are of interest to materials science and physical chemistry. These studies will be conducted mainly using light, X-ray, and neutron scattering techniques to characterize both microscopic dynamics and microstructure. Achieving the project's objectives may also entail the development of new prototypes or the implementation of existing ones.
