2026_IR_25_DIBIO Notice direct award n.1 Research Assignment entitled “CIME - Chemo-omics and Informatics for Metabolite discovery and Exploration”

The selected candidate will assist with field sampling across Italian and other European mountain regions, including alpine environments, and will be responsible for recording sampled taxa along with precise geographic coordinates. In addition, the candidate will perform mass spectrometry (MS) analyses on the samples, followed by downstream data analysis and interpretation. The successful candidate will also be responsible for isolating algal partners, establishing cultures, and carrying out subsequent genome sequencing and data analysis
