Innovative tools for modeling erosion in fire-affected areas

The overall goal of the SA-RESILIENCE project is to have a positive impact on regional and national policies through medium- and long-term initiatives, focusing on identifying and improving data management tools to ensure a more effective response to critical events. The specific objectives of the project are related to the prevention and management of post-wildfire erosion phenomena in the Apulian region, through the use of innovative technologies and continuous monitoring. The modeling activity should be based on the application of hydrological and multifactorial models for analyzing hydrogeological risk and estimating post-fire erosion.
