Biotechnologies for the sustainable recovery of strategic elements from electric and electric waste and lithium batteries.

The researcher will be responsible for developing innovative biotechnologies for the recovery of strategic metals (e.g., Li, Co, Cu, and Au) from electronic waste and lithium batteries, achieving high recovery efficiencies and purity levels ensuring high-environmental sustainability standards. Experimental activities will also be aimed at supporting the process scale-up phase, using the laboratory pilot plant developed within the framework of the FIS-BRAVE project.
