RdS_25_27_Project_1.4 Frontier Materials and Devices for Energetical Applications

The planned activities will concern the synthesis and characterization of newcation exchange (CEM) and anion exchange (AEM) polymer membranes. The goal is to develop systems capable of combining high performance such as high ionic conductivity, selectivity, and stability with sustainability in materials and preparation protocols. Materials such as polymerizable ionic liquids will be employed as functional monomers of polymeric plane membranes produced through scalable and sustainable protocols. The synthesized membranes will be characterized by techniques electrochemical such as impedance spectroscopy, as well as chemical-physical characterization tests and structural.

Selection process
