Active Microresonator-Based Sensors for Pollutant Detection
The beneficiary will carry out research activities aimed at developing microsensors based on the coupling of photoluminescent nanomaterials with optical Whispering Gallery Mode (WGM) microresonators, such as dielectric microspheres made of polystyrene and glass. The goal is to develop active microresonators whose emission can be engineered through coupling to the photonic modes of the microresonator.
