Tools of artificial intelligence for coastal erosion assessment

The research objective is to develop and validate AI-based tools for assessing coastal erosion, with a specific focus on estimating shoreline retreat following storm surges.Specifically, the aim is to develop a machine learning model (such as neural networks, decision trees, random forests, or hybrid approaches) capable of analyzing multi-source data, including satellite imagery and coastal survey datasets, to predict shoreline morphological changes over different time scales.
