Development and refinement of innovative, multi-omic approaches to study the cellular and molecular mechanisms involved in pathophysiological and oncological processes

The project focuses on developing and testing innovative, integrated multi-omic approaches and protocols aimed at investigating cellular and/or molecular biological and pathological mechanisms, as well as identifying diagnostic-prognostic biomarkers and therapeutic targets. Leveraging the platforms available at the Department of Experimental Medicine, the primary objective is the methodological optimization of cutting-edge technologies for application to the study of oncological, immune-mediated, or metabolic diseases. The pathological context will thus serve as an ideal model to validate the efficacy and resolution of these new workflows. The research will proceed in seamless continuity with the "SINTESI" (Experimental, Transdisciplinary, Preclinical, and Translational Medicine) Hub, a departmental project of excellence. The potential impact lies in the creation of advanced, reproducible technological tools that are essential for future applications in precision medicine
