Digital transformation for food safety, authenticity and traceability in innovation ecosystems: the role of the university

The candidate will be expected to contribute to an analysis of the role of digital transformation in strengthening food safety, authenticity, and traceability within innovation ecosystems, focusing on the role of universities. The research programme will concern both the legal and the economic implications of the adoption of digital technologies, including Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, and FAIR data management, to support research, innovation, and technology transfer processes. Furthermore, the candidate will contribute to the study of industrial sectors, comparative analyses, and case studies in collaboration with academic and non-academic partners of the T4I project. This would facilitate the identification of governance models, tools for the valorisation of research outputs, and Open Science practices to strengthen the competitiveness, sustainability, and impact of European research. The candidate will also provide organisational support for the implementation of T4I.
