HARMONY- Hazard Assessment of Marine Mixtures and New Pollutant Synergies.

The research activity will focus on the development and application of innovative methodologies to investigate the occurrence, bioaccumulation, and ecotoxicological effects of emerging contaminants in marine ecosystems. Interactions between chemical contaminants and other stressors will also be assessed through integrated, effect-based approaches, contributing to the characterisation of the risks associated with exposure to complex mixtures of pollutants.
