Estrazione, costruzione e validazione statistica di reti sociali e di collaborazione

The project, referring to FIS line 1.1 "Algorithms, metrics and models" of the CODYBE project, starts from extracting statistically valid signal from large-scale human-behavior data to build and validate social and collaboration networks, including in online-discourse settings. At this data scale, statistical validation is a necessary condition for distinguishing genuine structure from noise; a dedicated implementation component handles data extraction, network construction and statistical validation. The work extends to the study of scientific collaboration and to higher-order representations of collaboration.
