“SoTyS - Sculpture in South Tyrol between Renaissance and Baroque”

Developed through the collaboration of research institutions across the European Alpine Region (Euregio), the project aims to advance the study of South Tyrolean cultural heritage while broadening public knowledge of the region’s artistic history. Focusing on sculpture produced between the mid-15th and the early18th century, the project brings together the Università di Trento and the Philosophisch- Theologische Hochschule Brixen, which will establish a dialogue with museums and cultural institutions in Italy, Austria, and Germany preserving South Tyrolean works of art. The project’s primary goal is the publication of a series of scholarly monographs devoted to sculpture in South Tyrol from the Renaissance to the early Baroque period.
