Derivation and validation of the echocardiographic calcium score to confirm the severity of aortic stenosis

To derive and validate an echocardiographic aortic valve calcium “value” (Echo-CA score) to confirm severe aortic stenosis, using CT-derived aortic valve calcium as the reference standard. To determine sex-specific thresholds (males vs. females) for the echocardiographic aortic valve calcium score (Echo-CA score). To evaluate the correlation between the echocardiographic aortic valve calcium score and the calcium volume (mm³) measured via cardiac computed tomography. To evaluate the association between the echocardiographic aortic valve calcium score and the time to aortic valve replacement (AVR) according to current ESC guidelines. To correlate the echocardiographic aortic valve calcium score with the presence and onset of patient symptoms (angina, syncope, and dyspnea). To correlate the echocardiographic aortic valve calcium score with the patient's NYHA class
