Comparative evaluation procedure for n. 1 post-doc research contract - Department of Physics and Astronomy “Augusto Righi”

Title of the project: "Development of hybrid components for the Ocean Digital Twin: high-resolution coastal modelling". The project is part of the Horizon Europe project OCEANITY, which develops Ocean Digital Twin (DTO) applications at TRL 8. The researcher will contribute to the development of hybrid coastal DTO components (WP3), integrating high-resolution hydrodynamic models on unstructured meshes with numerical and data-driven approaches. Activities include: storm surge and coastal flood simulations under climate change scenarios; development and validation of models in support of sustainable maritime operations; contribution to DTO co-assessment and validation. Work will be conducted in collaboration with CMCC and European partners within the OCEANITY consortium.
