Gender-affirmation processes and psychological well-being in transgender and non-binary people: lived experiences, minority stress, and affirmative clinical practice

The research focuses on psychological well-being and on identity-construction and gender-affirmation processes in transgender and non-binary people, within a clinical and dynamic framework. Activities include literature review, data collection and analysis using qualitative and mixed-methods approaches (semi-structured interviews, focus groups), and the study of the subjective experience of gender dysphoria and of minority stress, together with their implications for affirmative clinical practice.
