In line with the activities of the Methods and Tools for Product Design section, the Department of Mechanical Engineering of Politecnico di Milano seeks a full professor. The scientific commitment will concern the development of methodologies for the modelling, generation and optimisation of complex geometries, aimed at exploiting the potential of additive technologies while integrating criteria of environmental sustainability and life cycle assessment. The successful candidate will be expected to promote and coordinate national and international research projects, contributing to the scientific positioning of the Department. The teaching commitment will concern courses consistent with the SSD IIND-03/B in Bachelors, Masters and PhD programmes.
