Development of human-centric models and methods for the intelligent and sustainable management and maintenance of complex production systems and industrial assets 2026_RTT_DIG_6

The research activity aims to develop advanced models, methods, and tools for the design, management, maintenance of production systems and industrial assets throughout their lifecycle. Emphasis is placed on the integration of advanced digital technologies, such as Digital Twins, AI, Data Analytics, Industrial Metaverse solutions, to support decision-making processes in production and maintenance contexts. The research will focus on the integration between production system design, asset management, maintenance strategies (including prognostics approaches), by developing model-based and simulation-driven predictive solutions capable of supporting data-driven decision-making. In line with the human-centric paradigm, attention will be devoted to the study of human -machine interactions and the integration of cognitive models within advanced production systems, in accordance with the objectives of the HumanTech project.
