BRICKS: Building Robotic Intelligence and Modular Construction Kit System (BRICKS)

The researcher will conduct research on methods for motion planning, human-robot collaboration, the optimization of the composition of modular robotic systems and cooperative multi-robot systems, as well as the definitionand optimization of robotic assembly processes for construction. Numerical and experimental verification, together with the implementation of the developed methods through hardware and software tools, constitute an integral part of the activity.Additional research activities in the context of other research projects on similar topics may be defined in due course with the mutual agreement between research contract holder and supervisor. If the supervision of this activity taking place within another project is done in detail by a different professor/researcher, the main supervisor has to explicitly countersign the part of the report regarding the activity on additional research projects.
