Innovative Methodologies and Technologies for the Design, Control, and Diagnostics of Advanced Mechatronic Systems

The activities carried out within this research appointment will mainly focus on:- Development and application of deadbeat-like observers for mechatronic systems characterized by strongly nonlinear dynamics.- Investigation of innovative structure–control co-design techniques for advanced mechatronic systems and of technologies supporting automated design.- Advanced control of innovative electric drives and power converters.The research activities will be carried out within the ACTEMA research group (https://dei.unibo.it/en/research/research-groups/actema), in collaboration with other entities and groups, where necessary.
