Multi-agent collaborative dynamics in human–robot systems: a multimodal approach
The research program aims to extend and develop the knowledge gained from the INEST project by examining the relationship between collaborative technologies and collective work dynamics, moving beyond the traditional human–machine interaction to investigate more complex configurations in which humans and collaborative robotic systems operate in close interaction. The project involves the development of laboratory-based experimental scenarios in which multiple participants interact with each other and with multiple cobots engaged in cooperative tasks characterized by different levels of interdependence. The results are expected to provide operational insights for the design of complex production systems, supporting solutions in which the interaction between humans and cobots is optimized in terms of well-being, performance, reliability, and process quality
